Empty Bottle Of Faith
The walls shouted with anger
It's letters flared
through the air
As each word
Pierced past my skin
It's bullet wounds slowly
Left me bare
As the halls began
To roar with violence
The floor quivered in fear
My soul bled out in silence
And I wanted to disappear
I grabbed my father's
Unfinished bottle of whiskey
Wanting the poison
To suffocate my throat
Hoping it would kill me
Or the last of my hopes
I kissed the bottle's lips
And thrusted my arm into the sky
As I drank the liquor's life away
Misery coveted my sunken eyes
I had realize the toxic
Was feeding off me
Suffocating my hope
Emptying out my faith
It had hung me on
The same ropes
My father couldn't break
